<p>Originaire du Limousin, Françoise Dague est la fille de la costumière Cécile Leygue-Marie. Elle est la fondatrice, en 1962, des Ballets occitans de Toulouse, puis en 1971 le Conservatoire occitan (actuel COMDT) aux côtés d’Hubert Poirée. Diplômée des Beaux-Arts, Françoise Dague va s’attacher, sur la base des collections de sa mère, à recréer les costumes traditionnels des régions d’Occitanie.</p>
