<p style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;">Tous les ans, pour l'organisation du carnaval de Nice, un grand concours était lancé pour la création d'une chanson appelée à devenir la chanson officielle du carnaval et chantée tout au long du défilé. Les partitions et les chansons sélectionnées étaient ainsi éditées puis vendues les semaines précédant et suivant le carnaval. <br />De toutes les propositions ce fut celle présentée ici, en dialecte Nissard, qui remporta le concours en 1911.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;">Cada annada, per l'organizacion del carnaval de Niça, un grand concors èra lançat per la creacion d'una cançon que devendriá la cançon oficiala del carnaval e cantada pendent tot lo desfilat. Las particions e las cançons seleccionadas èran aital editadas puèi vendudas las setmanas que precedissián e que seguissián lo carnaval.<br />De totas las proposicions, foguèt aquesta, en dialècte Niçard, que remportèt lo concors en 1911.</p>
