Les portraits stylisés des personnalités de la renaissance occitane sont accompagnés de courts textes. <br /><br />Marguerite Genès, actrice importante du développement du mouvement félibréen en Limousin dès la fin du XIX<sup>e</sup> siècle, était par ailleurs professeur de français. Elle choisit naturellement de consacrer le texte de sa carte à la question du double héritage linguistique et de l'enseignement de l'occitan à l'école. </div>
